Declan Flanagan, CEO
Declan is Founder and CEO of Lincoln Renewable Energy. He previously served as CEO of E.ON Climate & Renewables North America Inc. which he joined in 2007 through E.ON's acquisition of Airtricity North America where he also served as CEO. He is a member of the board of the Solar Energy Industry Association as well as a former board member of the American Wind Energy Association. Mr. Flanagan holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, an M.Sc. from the University of Ulster and a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
Dan Foley, COO
Dan brings to LRE more than two decades of experience in the energy industry. Most recently, he was CEO of Acciona Energy North America, overseeing wind-and-solar energy portfolio across North America. Prior to Acciona, Dan was Director of Power Marketing at Invenergy. Earlier in his career Dan held management positions with utilities ComEd and Niagra Mohawk as well as in management consulting with Deloitte. He is a member of the Energy Advisory Board of U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R., Ill.), and a former board member of the American Council on Renewable Energy. As a U.S. Naval officer, he was trained in nuclear plant operations. Dan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a Master of Engineering degree from the State University of New York-Buffalo and a B.Sc. from the University of Notre Dame.
Richard Gruber, SVP Business Development
Richard brings to LRE more than 25 years of power and natural gas industry experience and most recently served as President of Schott Solar CSP. Prior to Schott Solar, Richard served as Vice President of Project Development for First Solar. Earlier in his career Richard held management positions at ERCOT and NUI Corporation and is a former board member the Solar Energy Industry Association. Richard holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a B.A. in Economics from Southern Methodist University.
Matt Bigham, VP Finance
Prior to joining LRE, Matt served as Senior Vice President at Inland Private Capital Corporation (IPCC), a subsidiary of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, which collectively owns and operates diversified commercial real estate portfolios totaling 129 million square feet and approximately $25 billion in value. At IPCC, Matt led the underwriting, structuring, financing and preparation of private placement offerings of commercial real estate investments and helped develop and manage an investment platform that has collected approximately $1 billion in capital and has acquired approximately $2 billion in assets. Prior to Inland, Matt worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Matt holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Peter Harsy, General Counsel
Peter joined Lincoln Renewable Energy from The Inland Real Estate Group where he represented clients in a wide range of transactions including multimillion dollar developments, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings and energy related contracts. Prior to law school, Peter worked at Deutsche Bank's Asset Management division, DWS Investments. Peter obtained a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of San Diego. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and the State of New York.
